וְאִ֨ישׁ בְּמָע֜וֹן וּמַעֲשֵׂ֣הוּ בַכַּרְמֶ֗ל וְהָאִישׁ֙ גָּד֣וֹל מְאֹ֔ד וְל֛וֹ צֹ֥אן שְׁלֹֽשֶׁת־אֲלָפִ֖ים וְאֶ֣לֶף עִזִּ֑ים וַיְהִ֛י בִּגְזֹ֥ז אֶת־צֹאנ֖וֹ בַּכַּרְמֶֽל׃
A był niejaki mąż w Maon, mający dobytek swój w Karmelu. Był to człowiek zamożny bardzo; posiadał trzy tysiące owiec i tysiąc kóz. Zajęty był właśnie strzyżą owiec swych w Karmelu.
